How to play Tent & Trees
- Pair tents to trees. Each tree must have exactly one tent placed in an orthogonally adjacent cell, and each tent belongs to one tree.
- Keep tents apart. No two tents may touch, not even diagonally.
- Match the clues. The numbers beside each row and column give the exact count of tents in that line.
- Leave other cells empty. Cells that are neither a tree nor a tent stay as grass.

- Start with rows or columns whose clue equals the number of legal cells.
- A tree on the board edge or in a corner has very few possible tent positions.
- Mark grass where a tent is impossible to shrink the remaining options.
