How to Play Binairo: Rules, Strategy & Free Puzzles

Binairo, also called Takuzu, is a binary logic puzzle. You fill every cell of the grid with a 0 or a 1 so that no more than two of the same digit sit next to each other, each row and column holds an equal number of 0s and 1s, and no two rows and no two columns are identical.

How to play Binairo

  1. Fill with 0 or 1. Every cell must contain either a 0 or a 1 when the puzzle is solved.
  2. No three in a row. You may never place three of the same digit consecutively in a row or column.
  3. Balance each line. Each row and each column must contain exactly as many 0s as 1s.
  4. Keep lines unique. No two rows may be identical, and no two columns may be identical.
